ImABookAddict IMHO, yes. Some aspects of the story reference events that happened in book 1 such as the suspense part.

For those of you who dont know, like I hadn't, Penelope is introduced in her other series. Scandalous Brides. Her brother Johnathan Sinclair's book is the first meeting of Penelope but the book before Johnathan's is where we meet Jonathan. I wish the author would have explained this prior to me having to search it out?

The order of the books are so intertwined it's impossible to figure out which book to read first. For example, I was reading the beginning of this book when I realised the heroine's siblings all have their own books & they are spread out in different series. Why separate the overlapping characters into different series? Now I have to figure out which are the sibling's books! Can anyone shed light?
