It's that similar sort of prairie environment, but there are more people in this series for the main characters to interact with, and definitely more of an emphasis on both romance and Christian themes. That being said, I'm a fan of both and enjoy both for their similarities and differences alike.(less)

And no, in the way, that if you are looking for a romance much like the ones you see fresh off the press nowadays, you'd be very disappoinated (much cleaner than you'd normally see).
