The soundtrack to Adam Sharp's life is (mainly) from the 60s and 70s. I wanted the songs to add another dimension, as a soundtrack enhances a movie. I'm interested to know how familiar these songs (at www.textpublishing.com.au/books/the-best-of-adam-sharp) are to readers. I was aiming for 20-25 out of 50. Have a look / listen. (A bit of a spoiler!) Since the book has mostly gotten good reviews, I'll keep reading but I'm not sure I'm into it. I find this "She's out of my league"-stuff very annoying (It's in so many books!) I think it's simplifying relationships. Does the book go on like this?

During a talk he did, he explained that the idea came to him when his wife invited one of her ex lovers on their holiday and the story progressed from there. I'm not sure about the other parts of the story but I have a strong feeling that they are mainly about his own life. (less)

I'm very interested in reading this book. I was attending many concerts in the 1970's so t his is my life's playlist - full of memories for sure. I loved both Rosie Books. Sorry no questions to ask until I start reading the book. Will I know all the songs? I'm betting 90%
