I am fed up with alternating POV, and tired of waiting for the twist. I want to give up but I want to know the twist! I'm 37% into the audio book (chapter 23). Which chapter should I skip to???

It’s twisty throughout the last quarter of the book (from the Third Contact section on). If one fast-forwards to Chapter 45, one might catch on to what one missed in between. But the whole point of reading a story like this, with alternating POV (hence the book title!), is to experience the slow build to the twists and turns — not to plow through it to get to one at the end. ;)(less)

What's the profanity level in this book? Light...moderate...heavy?

The reason, I believe, this is used as a prelude (undated) is so that the reader thinks it's Beth at the first trial. The reader doesn't expect that there will be a second trial.(less)

Finished the book but now I'm left wondering what she lied about. Did I "daze" over it? I've been assuming it was with the rape trial and not Kit's trial.
Krystal She lied at the original trial. Said she heard Beth saying no. Beth didn’t say anything.
