A stationary observer (on the surface of the Earth) is not moving relative to the Sun, stars, Moon etc. Therefore, the observer is not moving, period. Think of an arcade game, Asteroids for instance, if you're not moving relative to the action on the screen, whatever the action is, you're not moving, period--even if you're on a moving train. Doesn't anyone understand relativity?
Note: by moving I mean motion, not speed.(less)
