Would this be appropriate for my niece who is 12 and very mature? My dad, her grandfather is dying of dementia and she really wants to read it.

Does anyone know how I can find out when this will come out in paperback? I have all his other books in paperback and I want to keep it that way. Amazon usually has a "pre-order" option for paperbacks that are going to come out within the year but this one unfortunately does not. How can I find out?
