Is this book part of a series or can I read just this book and not the ones before it and still understand whats going on?

So much more enjoyable because you have an affinity with them. I have read and enjoyed all of them. I did find the beginning of this a little slow as I do believe Mr Silva was endeavouring to give background if this was the first of his books you may have read. In saying that it was a marvellous story and very relevant to day's world. Highly recommended.(less)

Nearing the end of House of Spies and have a question. In Chapter 60, Keller, Mikhail, Natalie and Olivia begin walking "due west into a sea of sand". Then, in Chapter 61 they are driving with Dina and Eli in a Nissan and a Jeep. How did they meet up? It's not relevant to the story but I was curious. Another great book by Daniel Silva.

I love al Mr. Silva's books so I hardly wait to get this new one. Unfortunately it is quite difficult to get them here, in Romania. Does anybody know a source? Please let me know.
