I have read all of the Lynley books by Elizabeth George and although I liked this one I thought the role of Deborah St. James was a little forced. I do love Simon. But China and Cherokee(!) as characters just left me cold, and I'm an American. And I missed Lynley and Barb etc...(less)

Ugh China and Cherokee most boring characters ever. Why oh why did we have to suffer through this garbage just to get to the next book? I'm determined to read the whole series but this one was horrible. And Deborah! Just terrible
