Amy I won a copy too! I just finished reading it and it's fine to read on its own. Some past events in character lives are mentioned but the plot is stron…moreI won a copy too! I just finished reading it and it's fine to read on its own. Some past events in character lives are mentioned but the plot is strong enough without that background. That being said, I'm now planning to get my hands on the first two books.(less)
