You make regular reference to the train calling at terminals 2, 3 and 5. However Piccadilly line trains go 1,2,3 and 5. Given the mystery of the story was this deliberate for this train or just a typo?

This was indeed deliberate. Heathrow Terminal 1 has actually been closed for over a year. The Tube station is still called Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, 3 but since Signal Failure is set a little in the future, I have assumed that by March 2017 they will have updated its name to Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3. If I'm wrong then I might have to make a change to the story!(less)
