I can't help but express myself through fiction and though I've tried many genres the most natural flow comes to me in fantasy or poetry. I had a lot of help when I first started drafting Rightful from a friend of mine named Emma to whom the book is dedicated. We'd brainstorm Thyrena's character and escapades together.(less)

I like playing around with the idea of vastly different generational experiences intermingling. The idea for the humans of Midnight is that they live in an alternate world/universe that caters to the immortality of the elves. The humans who live on Mastinia aren't immortal, but they (can) live until around 500 years of age. Being a medieval lifestyle, not many actually do, but there are some. Monichet is almost 300, Das is over 400 years old.(less)
