I haven't been able to find this book as yet...but looking forward to it. Anne is carrying on Tony Hillerman's great Navajo themed mysteries in a style that so closely matches her father's. Will it be available soon?

Anyone listen to this on CD and have trouble with the discs doing strange things..return to the beginning of the disc when starting after turning off, no able to fast forward, counter going backwards?

In chapter 27 Palmer goes to the bathroom to check his blood sugar before giving himself insulin before lunch. The book says he is checking his A1C level, but that is a test done from a blood draw in a physician's office to check the blood sugar average over a 3 month period. Just a heads-up on that. Loved the book as well as the 2 previous ones by Anne Hillerman and the whole series by her dad! 😊 ???

What Palmer was checking is his blood sugar level at that point in time. Another point I questioned was doing a check in an outhouse, not the most sanitary of conditions & really not necessary except as a plot device.(less)
