I love this series and will pretty much read any cozy set in the UK or Ireland. Anyone have any other recommendations that are similar to this? Agatha Raisin by MC Beaton is my all-time favorite cozy/Brit mystery, but always looking for others with quirky characters in small villages. Cats or dogs a bonus!

Try Ngiao Marsh (who I think is better than Christie), Deborah Crombie, J New, Frances Brody, Elizabeth Peters (Amelia Peabody series) Carola Dunn, Rhys Bowen.....the list goes on. But if you want to laugh out loud--read the Sinful series by Jana DeLeon--I was in tears laughing so hard!

Everything in each of the first two books didn't land in the same place in the two new books. Things were changed, things were rearranged. (less)

There's more than a passing remark that something happened between books 1 & 2. Is there any indication that a future book looks into that timeframe? It feels like there's a book missing but I've double-checked the series order on multiple sites.
