She later realizes that the man is the duke she fell in love with and that he did not die. Also the child she had was not dead and was a boy.

I was searching for a book, on whatsthatbook.com, someone told me this was it. Is this book about: a woman who meets a man in the woods. He tells her he is a duke. They end up falling in love. Then she comes back to see him. The house is burned down. She is told by his servants that he is dead. She finds out she is pregnant. One of the duke's devoted servants take her to a convent (I think it was a convent) to have?
