You're pretty much expected to either check, write, draw or list something or other on virtually every page.

Furthermore, it lacks the typical rhymes and Seussian animals and imaginations typical in other Dr. Seuss books. If you're trying to read all of his books and your library has it available for check out, fine, but if not, this is far from a must-read Dr. Seuss book.(less)
