I believe this book should be read with good critical thinking skills in mind, and from a place where the reader already has some well-esablished core values and beliefs, so they know where to file the information in this book and can conscientiously decide whether they accept certain things the book outlines as fact.

I'm not saying the content is all good or all bad; in fact I personally really liked the book. I simply want to clarify that a lot of the content presented in The Empath's Survival Guide needs to be filtered and individually accepted or rejected by the reader. Being well-grounded beforehand will help the reader navigate this book without overwhelm or being blindsided. (less)
