This sounds very similar in the synopsis to the brilliant "Before I go to Sleep" by S.J. Watson that I read a couple of years ago. Can anyone who has read both tell me if it differs or not?

This reminded me of the film '50 First Dates' with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore... not 100% related but close enough did anyone else think this? That's why i really like this book. :)

Meiley One difference between these two is that flora lost her memory when she was 10/11; where as the girl on 50 first dates lost it as an adult.

Is this book suitable for an 11 year old?

Lysh I would say there are some references that are a bit mature for an 11 year old. I teach 12 year olds and I wouldn't recommend this to my students. The first part of the book talks about almost "spending the night" with a boy and him wanting to see her naked. Nothing explicit but it would depend on the kid.(less)
