The problem is we don't talk about child abuse and so children can believe that it's somehow their fault. The book explores this dynamic so beautifully. Why should we deny this story to the very people that it's about. I think that schools should tell pupils that they can talk about these things. That things can change. Nothing will change if we keep this notion of secrecy to preserve "innocent' childhood. It just protects the abusers. (less)

I'm about 1/3 of the way into the book (via audible) and am trying to recall the specifics of the family tree - who is related to whom, aunt versus sister versus cousin. There was an outline early on via the pictures on the wall but I'm struggling to find given I am listening to the book versus having a hard copy. Help???
