I'd say that Goodreads should not allow people to rate books that still have to be published... but at the same time, seeing someone give one star to something that has yet to be written is a good way to recognize "the petty rancorous reader". This elusive species of mammal feeds on past disappointments and enjoys rolling around in puddles of biases. Its only predator? The dreaded objectivity.

It's now summer of 2024 and still can't find anything about when it will be published?

If published before The Wicked Pow…moreI believe the author has said that the (fictional) black volume of the dead will first appear in The Wicked Powers. If published before The Wicked Powers, this third novel in The Eldest Curses would apparently spoil significant plot points. It's unclear if it will only be published after The Wicked Powers of complete or if it could be some time in the middle of that series though.(less)

Should I read the Shadowhunter Chronicles in the chronological order? If so, then what is the most recent chronological order?
