OK, so I got this book as a gift a while ago and have put it off because it is the 7th book in a series of walking dead books. I don't really want to read the other books just so I can read this one but I could if I had to. Do I need to read the other books to enjoy this one? or does this book stand well on its own?

That being said I love the series. You may end up hooked and want to read the previous books either way.(less)
