The older cover art was so much better. Who cares if it confuses people? Put a number on the cover if you have to.(less)

Will we have to have read the first book to understand this one?

Heather I think you could probably read this and be ok, but it is always better to read in order as they tend to build on one another.

I read this book and I was like: "What?! This one doesn't take place after the last book? I still don't know exactly how this one lines up with Flamecaster near the end. Does anyone know?

I have a question about the covers: I was wondering if anyone has been able to get the paperback edition with the original cover design (the ice crystal not the person)? I tried ordering it at my usual online source and they delivered the cover with the person, even though the ISBN number matches the cover with the ice crystal. I'm now wondering where I can get the correct edition, if it exists at all?!

I am a huge fan. I love all of these books. The maps in all of the Seven Realms and Shattered Realm have Eastgate and Westgale on them. The second "t" is not crossed in WESTGATE. This is the case in all 8 of the books that I own. It is also on the printable version of the map. As a fan, I want someone to be aware of this and maybe it could be fixed?
