Finishing "Red Knight," trying to decide whether to continue. Love the story, Cameron writes well, character interactions are great, nice spins on old tropes. But: descriptions of surroundings (allowing us to "picture" the action) and attention to detail about what exactly is happening, are frequently awful. And editing is the worst I've ever seen for any book. Inexcusable. Do bad points get better as series goes on?

It was a steady decline for me, and if I had known, I probably wouldn't have finished the series.(less)
