I'm not a Jew, but I've always enjoyed Dave Barry's books and columns. Will I be able to enjoy this one too or will most of the jokes and quips go over my head?

The occasional Hebrew word/phrase pops up that might not be familiar, so I've been keeping Google Translate as a handy reading companion. I've taken multiple world religion classes and had more than a few discussions on Judaism with Jewish friends, so I might have a leg up on most people reading this book who are also coming from a non-Jewish background. However, I'm also coming at this book as a long-time friend of Dave Barry, and it has all of his patented laugh-out-loud-in-spite-of-yourself humor; I think that anyone can appreciate that, regardless of religious upbringing.(less)
