I was thinking of giving this book to my father for his birthday, I know he played a lot when I was little. But I know he haven't played the last two titles (Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider). My question is: What exactly can I expect from this book? Lots of pictures? Lots of information? Do you think an old fan of Tomb Raider would like it?

It has everything, from the beginnings of the concept, Tomb Raider in other media and even talk of the future of the franchise. My wife bought it for me and I was pleasantly surprised with all the information in held especially all the behind the scenes stuff I never knew. If your dad is as big a fan as I am, and i've been a fan since high school when the first game came out, he'll enjoy this book. It may even get him interested in the last two games which IMO were amazing.(less)
