Who came up with the title for this book? I keep seeing it at the library, but I can't get past a title that sounds like a little kid playing dress-up, which I would guess probably demeans and cheapens the content. I really hope we're coming to the end of the "Girl"-mania in titles.

Even something that pointed to her being the first Pinkerton, unless that was a copyright infringement of something. Despite the title, the cover caught my eye, I read the book in one evening...and loved it...mostly...the ending caught me by surprise. Too sad!(less)

Did anyone else confuse this book with A Curious Beginning from the Veronica Speedwell series? The covers are very similar.
