Robin Card It was originally published in London, hence the Anglo-centric nature of the book and the frequent reference to British peers.

given the disasters that capitalist free enterprise system struggles with, supported with corporate welfare bailouts, subsidies, anti labour legislation, tax breaks. PLAN for bailout LOANS, quit giving tax breaks to individuals and corporations which take assets offshore. Perhaps CO-OPERATIVES not COMMUNISM could be considered?

The intro by Milton Friedman is the give away. In America, we've been serfs for the last 40 years precisely because of rampant capitalism. We have most of the features of a 3rd world country: rampant corruption, outsourced jobs, wealth inequality, minimum wage frozen @ $7.25 for decades, no healthcare, (Obamacare was a gift to Big Pharma & the insurance companies). How did Hayek's philosophy not cause this?

Who knew Hayek was an agnostic/atheist that could defend Christianity/Judaism?
