Is this a romance or a fantasy? I tried reading Servant to the Crown, which was billed as a fantasy, but was actually a romance with lots of feels and little plot until the second half which I never got to. I don't have anything against romance, but I have to be in the right mood to read one unless the author is good enough to make me care about the characters.
