Usually I have problems with big books of this type but this one is captivating. Of course I've seen some of the movies and that might have helped but I don't think so. This one wasn't written by Tom Clancy and maybe that makes a difference. Mark is a great author and I love the pace of his book. Very enjoyable. I look forward to reading many more. He reminds me a little of David Baldacci and the Camel Club. It and the Campus are a little similar. I've read a lot of Nelson Demille and there are some similarities between the two as well. We'll see how things work out. I'll leave a detailed report when I've finished.(less)

I can't remember any particular place where it says the exact state he was a senator for but several times it mentions KY in that way.(less)
