Hi! I read this book when I was eight or nine along with ''A company of swans'' ''Magic flutes'' ''The secret countess'' and ''The morning gift''. My mum doesn't want me to read these again because she says they aren't age appropriate. I'm eleven now. Is she right?

I read them when I was about eleven too, however I couldn't understand or appreciate them until I was about eighteen. There is no swearing and very light sex references.(less)
