There is plenty of romance, set in a very interesting historical period and in a romantic war setting. I rated this book five stars, not because it is great literature, but because it is plain old fun to read. The characters are engaging and are right out of a movie.
I don't think you will be disappointed. I would categorize it as historical fiction/suspense/romance. Good with popcorn, and the ending was satisfyingly appropriate for a war story.(less)
