Which from theese 2 books are better? A General History of the Pyrates or A General History of the Robberies and Murders of the most notorious Pyrates. Like one of them have 733 pages and the next one have 300 pages.

In his book "Filibusters and Buccaneers" Alfred Sternbeck cites a book by Captain Johnson entitled "The Lives of the Pirates". I wish to know if it is the same book. Can any one tell me?
