Launched in 1996, the IPPY Book Awards is the world's largest independent book awards. IPPY's National Book Award is widely recognized as the top independent book award. The National Book Award seal is coveted by independent publishers and authors because thousands of readers all over the world recognize its value.

Each year, over 5000 books are entered into the IPPY Book Awards.
