It helps the kids…moreWhen reading to young kids (the intended audience for this book) it is good to have a repetitive or rhythmic structure to the story. It helps the kids stay interested and gives the person reading it aloud an easier time of reading to they can interact more with the child being read to. Unfortunately the repetitive style means kids older than 5 or 6 will get bored more easily.(less)
