If he had not taken the position, someone else who really wanted a full-time job might have gotten it and it might be more difficult for her to return when she is ready. She is definitely a capable partner with Bosch.(less)

I became intrigued by the Harry Bosch series after he was a character in one of the Mickey Haller books, also written by Connelly.
I have read the first of the series, but from experience, I have not had any problem skipping around in his books. Once you read a few, you can piece things together. Connelly does a great job of filling in necessary details as required about that book's plot.(less)

I believe it all came together for Harry when he broke into Dockweiler's office. The clues collided in Harry's mind when he saw the tip sheet for illegal garage to apartment conversions. The clues snowball even further from there.(less)
