Cajun French vs Parisian French Anyone have knowledge or experience to offer an opinion on this? I read "Letters from Paris" in one sitting, so you can definitely say I enjoyed this book!:) However, right from the beginning, I was taken back by the notion that a Cajun from Louisianna could go to France and be, not just easily understood, but so accepted.

I have heard him communicate to other nationalities that speak french but it's more slang than a Paris french! =)(less)
