This novel introduces Jubal Khan, The Lord of Summer Lightning as a White Scars Khan during the Horus Heresy. Is he the same Jubal Khan who's currently Great Khan of the White Scars in M41 and wouldn't that make him older than Dante?

So, I very much doubt it is the same guy, but the name serving as a type of honorific to those of the steppes of Chogoris.
