I just started the audiobook--can someone tell me if the music bed eventually goes away or does it persist throughout the whole recording? I don't think I can do a whole book of this. Thanks in advance, folks who have listened to the whole thing, for sharing the music scoop!

I thought the same thing when I started it... But I didn't mind it once the storyline got going. It seemed either the music wasn't as loud or I got used to it. It reminds me of when you're watching a movie and the music is an effect that kind of foreshadows. If that makes sense. (less)
