I think I'm going to give up on this book, I don't find it funny or clever. Maybe I'm picky about the brand of chick lit I read, but I none of these characters appeal to me. All one dimensional, the protagonist has no redeeming qualities and I don't really understand why she loves her husband or why she was ever friends with her nemesis?

When in doubt, go to the library. Also, women slut-shaming, body-shaming and in general tearing each other down is a weak way to develop the plot.
