I just finished reading this awesome book! We too have an 8 month old Newfoundland at home,and he took a while to turn into a pretty sweet dog now. We have tried left in him swim in the rivers,and he did..once! Now he seems to only want to be in the shallows and not swim anymore after his first brave go. Anything to suggest about helping him love and enjoy the water more?

See what happens then! She did attend a water seminar and the trainer took her leash and sort of forced her to swim, and she did, so she knows how. Very odd. Just not in that particular line's blood.(less)
