Is there a significance to the Turkish names in the book? Serhet sounds a little to me like Sohreb. In a stretch, Gulichan, could seem close to Jocasta.

I'm having a really hard time getting into this book. I'm listening to the audiobook, which has one of my favorite readers (John Lee; https://www.audiofilemagazine.com/narrators/john-lee/), but I'm 8 chapters in and quite bored. When does it pick up? Should I stick with it? Should I bag the audiobook and get a print copy of the book?
