What inspired you to write this book and how were you affected by the death?

It is a beautifully written biography. But the question remains: Is an amazing basketball career, so much more precious than an actual rape confession? Was this person treated the same as other convicted celebrities (BC, etc.). What message does it send to all the ambitious youngsters out there? "Work hard, become a star and then you can drunk drive, steal, even rape or kill and no one will ever harm you in any way".
