How long did it take to write this masterpiece?

The Hidden Monastery was done *reasonably* quickly. It took me about 2 months, but it was done over the course of a Christmas break. I actually started writing it as an introductory story for a larger series, after I started writing the fourth book in the series.

When I started writing that fourth book I didn't know it was a series, until I was about half way through, and something niggled at me that this wasn't all there was to the story. That was one October. By November I knew it was a *really* big story, and that book was one part of it.

By the time I worked out where it started the story was really easy to get out. I now write the novella for my Last Prohpecy series during Nanowrimo, so November every year, at least to get the words out. I know the story so its just a matter of sitting down and writing it out.

Lots of pressure but lots of fun too! :)(less)
