I read the Moncrieff translation of "Swann's Way" and began his translation of the second volume (which he titled "Within a Budding Grove"), and it was killing me. I switched to the Grieve translation, and it's practically a different book (and a much better one). I'm going to switch to another more modern translator for volume three.(less)
