How old are the two main characters in this book?
Begopuga At the end of the first book Veronica just turned 25 and I believe Stoker is a little over 30!

Have any of you seen the new cover for this book? I for one do not like it, the original cover is what drew me to it! The new cover reads to me like a Romance Novel. Please go take a Look! I would not have taken a 2nd look at this or read the synopsis with the new cover. My husband wouldn't have read it! Let's hear what you think. Do you think they made a mistake? What do you say?
Erin I completely agree. The original cover drew me in, and I would also have passed up the book if it had had the new cover.

Is Stoker supposed to be Bram Stoker? So we can expect vampires?
Kristin Not remotely! No vampires here. Stoker is a sort of a nickname - a shortening of a mouthful of a name.

Does this series have any fantasy elements?
George Only insofar as swashbuckling is fantasy. I.e., not rigorously realistic, but not what we who read fantasy call fantasy!
