How accurate is Kline's representation of history? Are there any scholarly reviews of this book by historians of mathematics or science? I ask, because in only the first few chapters I have found many claims that don't jibe with what I've read elsewhere (concerning Augustine, Egyptian Christians, Arabian contributions to mathematics, etc...).
