He said that the current plan is for this to be the final book in the series.

He also reminded us that Trials of Apollo book 2 is titled The Dark Prophecy, and it’ll be out in May 2017. Jason Grace will be appearing again, Riordan said, adding that they may one day get a story of their own.

There will be five books in the Trials of Apollo series.
