As if in the first case it's his sexual orientation and not him seeking something lacking in his wife in another woman? No hearts are broken..no emotional turmoil like in case of a mistress?

No one who's in love with their spouse would peacefully accept the spouse falling in love with another person, regardless of that person's gender.(less)

Did anyone else feel like the relationship with Neil was rushed? I mean he's a great guy, but I think Caroline might have benefited from more time alone and maybe counceling (not with Adam but by herself). What happened to her was traumatic and she may have trust issues in her next relationship unless she addresses them. Also one of the daughters hates her so maybe another reason to slow down?

Caroline herself considered all of these (except the counseling for herself) and concluded she should break it off. It was months later when she decided to give the relationship another chance and I thought her analysis of that decision seemed very well thought out.(less)
