Would it be silly to read this at the same time as Down Among the Sticks and Bones (the second book)? I have both on loan at the moment but they are due to be returned soon (down among the sticks & stones in ebook format and Beneath the sugar sky in audiobook format)! Will i get confused? should i simply read Down Among the Sticks and Bones first?

Down Among the Sticks & Bones is kind of a prequel to Every Heart a Doorway, but Beneath the Sugar Sky is set in the aftermath of the events in Every Heart a Doorway. So, in my opinion, it would be totally fine to consume them both. I've consumed all three books in like 3 days through audiobook so I think it would actually be possible to read them separately. I know it's unlikely but I hope this somehow helped. I also hope you enjoy them as much as I have.(less)
