would this book be appropriate for a middle school kid who loves historical fiction?

Ashria Cothron I would say yes. There are no themes of sex, except for two implied scenes but they aren't graphic at all, or other topics that might be inappropriate…moreI would say yes. There are no themes of sex, except for two implied scenes but they aren't graphic at all, or other topics that might be inappropriate for a Middle Schooler. It is dark and political though, so I don't know if they would enjoy it but I say go for it. If they're able to read it and comprehend it in middle school, that's one smart kid you've got!(less)
