Pearl Harbor was a naval base and the only casualties were military; yes, Hiroshima had the naval headquarters of Admiral Shunroku Hata, BUT, it destroyed not just a naval base but a city. In answer to your question, you will find, if you read stories, that survivors of the Pearl Harbor bombings were like any other. I remember hearing about a Pearl Harbor survivor who married a Japanese woman AFTER the war. Some forgave the Japanese and got on with their lives, some carried enmity forever. (less)
